The Julia Method is one of the most popular and effective techniques for shifting to your DR (desireHow to use the Julia Method for reality shifting to your DRd reality).

Many reality shifters on TikTok, Amino, Reddit, and elsewhere say that it has helped them fully shift or at least come close. Personally, I like to mix it with my own method(s), but that’s a story for another day!

Anyway. If you’re not sure what the Julia Method is, allow me to explain:

The Julia Method, also known as the “I Am Method,” is a reality shifting technique that utilizes “I am” shifting affirmations or statements as you meditate on your desired reality.

It’s a pretty straightforward technique. I’ll be going over a few things in this post as well such as:

  • Who this method is for
  • Preparing to do it
  • How to do it

After reading this, you will have everything you need to do this method properly!

Who the Julia Method Shifting Technique is best for

The Julia Method is a great all-around method. Having said that, it’s best for different shifters at different points in our shifting process.

Here are the best cases for this method:

  • If you have been trying to shift with other methods for a while, and you know you are ready and able to shift, perhaps what you need is a new shifting method. Here is a good list of reality-shifting methods to help you.
  • People who like listening to relaxing audio.
  • Gradual shifting to your DR overtime.
  • Shifters who are still working on their script.
  • Baby shifters or beginners.

Even if you don’t fall into any of these cases, you can still try out this method and see if it works for you.

Preparing to shift with the Julia Method

Ok, before you start using the Julia Method, there are steps you should take to increase your likelihood of reality shifting.

Some of these steps are essential, others are optional but recommended.

Choose up to 10 shifting affirmations (Essential)

To use the Julia Method, you will need shifting affirmations that start with “I am.”

Shifting affirmations are positive statements that help you focus on your desired reality and thereby help you shift realities.

If you are a beginner, I recommend starting with 2 or 3 affirmations, but no more than 10. This way, you won’t have as much to memorize and can start using the Julia Method right away.

You can create your own shifting affirmations or view this list of shifting affirmations that you can use or draw inspiration from.

Establish a Primary Shifting Location (Essential)

Your Primary Shifting Location (PSL) is the place where you will reliably be shifting from most or all of the time.

Having one reliable place to shift is ideal because it promotes simplicity and repetition, two cornerstones for reliable shifting and developing your shifting ability.

I highly recommend choosing a PSL that fits the following requirements as closely as possible:

  • Quiet
  • Comfortable area to sit or lay
  • Private
  • Free of disturbance
  • Safe
  • Reliable access

No need to overthink this! Many shifters simply choose their bedroom.

Make sure you have a shifting script (Recommended)

Having a script for the Julia Method or any other shift method is critical. This is because it helps you create your DR, keeps your DR details organized, clear, and ensures you will be safe there.

How to do the Julia Method and shift to your DR (4-step process)

Now that you are ready to shift, I’m going to give you the exact steps you need to do to properly shift using the Julia Method.

If you aren’t in your bedroom or Primary Shifting Location, head there now. If you prefer, make sure to grab an mp3 player, so you can listen to theta wave audio.

Do a brief meditation with theta waves or subliminals for 10-15 minutes

This step is great for getting you into the mood for shifting.

What you want to do is lay down in your bed in the starfish position or any other comfortable position that works for you.

Start meditating for about 10 to 15 minutes. You can put on theta wave music to help induce you into a state of deep relaxation.

According to multiple studies, theta waves have a frequency between 4 to 8 Hz and are activated while we are in a deep state of rest or relaxation.

Theta waves are also associated with creativity, insightfulness, imagination, and healing, all perfect things to go along with shifting!

Optional: If you prefer listening to subliminals, you can do those instead of theta waves.

Your mind should be clear after this step, but feel free to take more time if you need to before moving on.

If any negative or random thoughts emerge in your mind, do your best not to feed them. Instead, acknowledge them softly and let them pass. Then re-focus your mind on your music or breathing.

Mentally repeat “I am” reality shifting affirmations

Now that you are relaxed, it’s time to really begin the process of shifting realities with this method.

Continue to breathe deeply, ideally in and out through your nose.

In your mind, start repeating “I am” shifting affirmations. They can be like: “I am shifting to my DR.” “I am ready to shift my DR.” “I am letting go of any shifting blockages I have now.”

When you are repeating your affirmations, make sure to add feeling and intention to them. Assume the feeling of these affirmations as if they were a fact right now.

Since this is intense for many shifters, shifting symptoms may be experienced, letting you know that you are getting close to shifting. Here are some examples:

  • Vibrations
  • Tingles
  • Seeing loving white light(s)
  • Feeling excited
  • Floatiness
  • Light twitching
  • Hearing sounds from your DR
  • Smelling scents from your DR

If you don’t experience any symptoms, that is fine too. As long as you are deeply relaxed and focused with a strong intention on shifting, you are doing well.

After you feel your first symptom or strong feeling, start counting slowly from 1 to 100.

Every 5-second interval, say one of your shifting affirmations. For example, “1…2…3…4…5….I am now ready to shift to my DR….6….7….8….9….10….I am shifting now.” Keep doing this process until you finish counting at 100. You can repeat this process if it helps you get more immersed.

When are finished counting, or you get the feeling to stop saying your affirmations at any point, this is when you can move on to the next step.

Use visualization to align with your DR

You should be quite relaxed and focused at this point.

As you stop repeating affirmations and counting from the previous step, begin to visualize your DR as if you are already there from the first-person point of view and as if it is perfectly natural for you to be there.

Consider things such as, how you will wake up and where, what you would be doing, who if anyone is waiting for you, and what everything looks like.

Engage all five of your senses, just like you would when you are in your current reality. Use your senses to understand the overall vibe, frequency, or atmosphere of your desired reality.

If you’re having trouble using visualization, you can instead think about your desired reality and feel as if you are already there.

Shifting symptoms may be intense here as you align with the very frequency of your desired reality.

Emerge inside your DR

This is the final step of the Julia Method, and the whole reason we are doing it!

If this hasn’t happened automatically by now, your intention should be to let go of your current reality and put 100% focus towards your shift.

You now want to do what I call the shifting unification process (SUP). This is where you align yourself with your desired reality by fully feeling into its overall vibe or frequency and then entering it, no different than if you passed through a doorway or a portal.

Let the shifting unification process feel as natural to you as possible and then do it.

To emerge inside your desired reality, all you have to do now is open your eyes when it feels like the right timing or you sense that your surroundings have changed.

Hopefully now, you are in your desired reality!

If you find that you’re still in your primary shifting location but your surroundings have noticeably changed, this is also a good sign. This means you mini-shifted, and are on your way to a full shift.

Final Thoughts: Take care of yourself (in every reality)

To wrap things up, I wanted to say a few things.

While you are in your current reality, it is important to take of your responsibilities, as well as your mental and physical health, as best as you can.
