What exactly is Spacecore?

Spacecore is an internet aesthetic that draws inspiration from celestial bodies such as stars, cosmic phenomena, and the technology surrounding their observation or study such as telescopes.

You will sometimes hear Spacecore go under different names. They include:

  • Astrocore
  • Astralcore
  • Cosmocore
  • Cosmicore

Nonetheless, Spacecore is the most popular name for this particular aesthetic.

This aesthetic organically came about sometime in the late 2010s. It has been popularized by Gen Z and millennials on platforms such as TikTok, Tumblr, and Pinterest.

Typically, you will see two variations of Spacecore.

The first focuses more on celestial bodies and their scientific observation with telescopes and such. The other centers more on aliens, UFOs, and what’s possible out in the universe.
