The Raven Method is arguably the most popular technique used for shifting to your DR (Desired Reality).

I’d say because people all through the shifting community on TikTok, Amino, Wattpad, and Reddit have found it both easy to use and effective.How to use the Raven Method for reality shifting to your DR.

Also, it works well if you want to combine it with other shifting methods such as the Julia Method, Pillow Method, or Alice in Wonderland Method.

Now, maybe you’ve heard of this method, but you’re not sure what it actually is. Let me explain:

The Raven Method is a shifting technique that utilizes the starfish position along with shifting affirmations as you meditate on your desired reality.

That’s it.

To make sure everything is crystal clear, I’ll be going over concepts in this post such as:

  • Who this method is for
  • Preparing to do it
  • How to do it

It gives me joy to hear when people successfully shift, so I made sure to provide everything you need to do this method properly!

 

Who the Raven Method Shifting Technique is best for

The Raven Method is simple and easy to learn. It also is a good foundation for many different methods.

Here are the best cases for this method:

  • Beginners or “baby shifters.”
  • Gradual shifting to your DR overtime.
  • Shifters who are still working on their script.
  • If your current method isn’t working, and you want to try a different one.

Even if you don’t fall into any of these cases, you can still try out this method and see if it works for you.

 

Preparing to shift with the Raven Method

Want to increase your likelihood of reality shifting with the Raven Method? Then, there are crucial steps you should take to ensure success.

Some of these steps are essential, others are optional but recommended.

Pick up to 10 shifting affirmations (Essential)

You will need to use shifting affirmations for the Raven Method.

Shifting affirmations are positive statements that help you focus on your desired reality and thereby help you shift realities.

If you are a beginner, I recommend starting with 2 or 3 affirmations, but no more than 10 for now. This way, you won’t have as much to memorize and begin using this method right away.

You can create your own shifting affirmations or view this shifting affirmation list for some to use or draw inspiration from.

Choose your Primary Shifting Location (Essential)

To shift, you need an area to do it in.

Your Primary Shifting Location (PSL) is the place where you will reliably be shifting from most or all of the time.

Having one reliable place to shift is ideal because it promotes simplicity and repetition, two cornerstones for reliable shifting and developing your shifting ability.

I highly recommend choosing a PSL that fits the following requirements as closely as possible:

  • Quiet
  • Comfortable area to sit or lay
  • Private
  • Free of disturbance
  • Safe
  • Reliable access

No need to overthink this! Many shifters simply choose their bedroom.

Create your shifting script (Recommended)

Having a script for the Raven Method or any other reality shifting method is critical. This is because it helps you create your DR, keeps your DR details organized, clear, and ensures you will be safe there.

Have earphones or headphones for your subliminals (Optional)

If subliminals or other audios like theta waves and ASMR help you, make sure to have an audio player along with earphones or headphones, so you can listen to them.

 

How to do the Raven Method and shift to your DR (3-steps)

Alright, now we’re ready to begin the Raven Method! If you aren’t in your Primary Shifting Location, head there now.

Review your entire script once or twice over in silence with deep focus. This will help you get in the mood for shifting to your DR.

Since this is a sleeping method, try to be a little tired or sleepy before you start.

Start meditating for 10-15 minutes

Meditation is key for getting in the right mood for shifting and beginning this method.

Optionally before beginning, you can put on subliminals, theta waves, or ASMR to help induce you into a deeply relaxed state.

Alright.

So start by lying down on your bed in the starfish position. Feel free to modify the starfish position to make it more comfortable for you. Just be sure to keep as still as possible.

Breathe in and out deeply and keep your focus on your breaths or any audio that you have on.

This whole process should take about 15 minutes, but feel free to take more or less time if it helps you.

If any negative or random thoughts emerge in your mind, do your best not to feed them. Instead, acknowledge them softly and let them pass. Then re-focus your mind on your audio or breathing.

Your mind should be pretty clear after doing this step and proceeding to the next!

Count from 1 to 100 as you say shifting affirmations in-between numbers

At this point, you should be quite relaxed. This is the perfect time for you to really begin the process of shifting realities.

Continue breathing deeply, ideally in and out through your nose.

In your mind, start counting slowly from 1 to 100. After each even number, say your shifting affirmations. They can be simple, such as “I am shifting now.” “I am now my DR self.” So, as an example, you would mentally say “1…2…”I am shifting now….3….4….”I am now my DR self….” and so on until you get to 100.

When you are repeating your affirmations, make sure to add feeling and intention to them. Assume the feeling of these affirmations as if they were a fact right now.

Many shifters experience what are known as shifting symptoms at this point. They let you know that you are getting close to shifting from your current reality to your desired reality.

Here are some example symptoms:

  • Tingling
  • Vibrations
  • Seeing loving white light(s)
  • Feeling excited
  • Floatiness
  • Light twitching
  • Hearing sounds from your DR
  • Smelling scents from your DR
  • Out of body effects

Don’t worry if you don’t experience any symptoms. What matters is that you are deeply relaxed, focused and are putting a strong intention on shifting.

Once you are finished counting, it’s time to move on to the final step!

Visualize to align and enter your DR

Alright. Now we are at the Raven Method’s final step! By now, you should be quite focused and relaxed.

After you finish counting to 100, start by visualizing your DR, giving it as much realism and sensory vividness as you can.

Try to visualize what you would see, feel where you would be, smell any particular scents, etc. Remember to engage all five of your senses just as you would in your current reality (CR). This will help you understand or “lock on” to the frequency and overall vibe of your DR.

*If you have a hard time visualizing, you can simply think about your DR and feel as if you are there already in the present.

Next, you now want to do what I call the shifting unification process (SUP). This is where you align yourself with your desired reality by fully feeling into its overall vibe or frequency and then entering it, no different than if you passed through a doorway or a portal.

Let the shifting unification process feel as natural to you as possible and then do it. At this point, you should also be letting go of your CR as you put full intention into completing your shift.

To fully enter your desired reality, all you have to do now is to fall asleep.

Hopefully when you awaken, you find that you are in your desired reality, and it feels as real as your CR does!

If you find that when you wake up you’re still in your primary shifting location but your surroundings have inexplicably changed, this is also a good sign. This means you mini-shifted, and are on your way to a full shift.

 

Final Thoughts: Take care of yourself (in every reality)

To wrap things up, I wanted to say a few things.

While you are in your CR, it is important to take of your responsibilities, as well as your mental and physical health, as best as you can. 

For your, DR, make sure to script a safe word and any other safety measures for yourself.
