Have you been wondering what shifting symptoms are and what to do when you get them? And not just that, but the difference between shifting symptoms and shifting signs.Top 18 Reality Shifting Symptoms and what to do when you get them

Well, I’m about to explain everything to you.

So, what exactly are shifting symptoms?

I can promise they have nothing to do with being sick or something like that!

Shifting symptoms are feelings, sensations, and visuals that one may experience as they are shifting or in the process of shifting. They are there to let you know that you are close to shifting.

I’ll be the first to say that one doesn’t always experience shifting symptoms. However, it is quite common to experience at least one symptom when shifting to your DR

If for some reason you’re not sure what shifting is, I invite you to read my post on shifting here or check out the book I wrote on the entire subject here.

Anyway.

Let’s take a look at what specifically causes shifting symptoms:

What causes shifting symptoms?

Shifting symptoms are what sometimes occurs when a person is trying to reality shift or shift realities.

Reality shifting is the act of moving one’s consciousness from their current reality (CR) to their desired reality (DR) for a planned period of time.

You can use shifting methods as well as shifting affirmations to accomplish reality shifting. Most shifters experience symptoms while using one of many shifting methods such as the Pillow Method or Raven Method.

I have found that the most common time to experience symptoms is during the meditation and visualization part of a method. This is because visualization, when done with sensory vividness, is quite intense.

Before we move on to the list of shifting symptoms, I must mention that I wrote a brand-new book on the subject of reality shifting. It’s called the Core Essentials of Reality Shifting.

Conveniently named, I know.

The book goes as deep as you can go and shows you exactly what to do to shift realities fast and easily.

You have to check it out! It’s a life-transforming read by what people are telling me. Be sure to check it out here.

List of shifting symptoms

When you are in the process of shifting, it’s common to experience at least one shifting symptom, especially if you are new or inexperienced as a shifter.

There’s no need to be alarmed if and when symptoms happen, as they are just there to let you know you’re on the right path towards your DR.

Now of course, if you really feel uncomfortable or sense something is truly wrong, stop trying to shift and get help from a trustworthy, qualified person.

Having said that, shifting is incredibly safe and symptoms are harmless for the overwhelming amount of people. I am just pointing out that you should always exercise your good judgment, like anything else.

So, the following symptoms are often experienced as people are getting close to shifting and aligning with their DR self.

Also, I use the term “intending” instead of “trying” because our goal as shifters is to actually experience our DRs not maybe experience our DRs!

Common examples of shifting symptoms while intending to shift:

  • Tingling
  • Feelings of love, excitement, joy
  • Seeing brilliant white light
  • Floatiness
  • Light twitching
  • Hearing sounds from your DR
  • Smelling scents from your DR
  • Vibrations
  • Out-of-body feelings or experiences
  • Phantom wind brushing against your face or body
  • A feeling of being gently pulled up from inside
  • Buzzing sounds
  • Feelings of detachment

Common shifting symptoms right after intending to shift:

  • Homesickness
  • Dreams of your DR or comfort character
  • A sense of inner satiation of accomplishment
  • Feeling light inside
  • The overall sense that you reality has changed in some way

So what do you do if you’re experiencing symptoms?

Two words: Maintain focus.

Maintain your focus on your DR and gently release your energetic attachment to your CR and your CR self. As you do this, energetically align yourself with your DR and your DR self.

Then, you need to deepen your focus as best as you can. If this approach feels too overwhelming, then pace yourself and focus at a level that is comfortable for you or take a break from shifting.

If you’re experiencing symptoms for the first time, it’s important to stay calm. When our minds are experiencing a new phenomenon, the knee-jerk reaction is to be afraid and try and return to safety. Sometimes the best thing to do is push through that fear, for fear could be the very thing holding you back from finally shifting!

Now, if you aren’t experiencing any symptoms when using a shifting method like the Julia Method, don’t worry. They don’t always happen. What matters is that you are deeply relaxed, focused on your intention towards shifting, and remaining faithfully persistent.

Shifting signs

Shifting signs are a little different from shifting symptoms.

Instead of letting you know that you are shifting, shifting signs are essentially the evidence that you have shifted in some way whether that is a minishift, larger shift, or identity shift.

This is how it happens.

When it comes to minishifting. Signs will show up in the form of small changes in your reality. Here are some examples to show what I mean:

  • Your parents have made a low-probability positive personality change.
  • A decoration in your room or something like your electric toothbrush has moved locations.
  • Something such as a person’s name or song title is suddenly changed or spelled differently.

When it comes to larger shifts. Signs will show up in the form of larger changes in your reality. Let me give you some examples:

  • You meet someone that is identical or near-identical to your comfort character.
  • A DR area, building, or item that did not exist or had no chance of existing in your previous reality now does.
  • There are a series of positive low probability or miraculous events that occur in your personal life.

For identity shifting, you will find that you just “are different” than you were before. Your thoughts, actions, and feelings increasingly line up with the ones your DR self would have.

Now as far as full shifts go, you will have the ultimate sign and that is the clear and undeniable confirmation to your five senses that you are in your DR.

In other words, the aesthetics, atmosphere, and the way you feel all clearly show that you have successfully shifted to your DR!

Final Thoughts

To wrap things up, I wanted to say a few things.

While you are in your CR, it is important to take of your responsibilities, as well as your mental and physical health, as best as you can.

For your, DR, make sure to script a safe word and any other safety measures for yourself.

That being said, I hope you now know about shifting symptoms, how to deal with them, and why they are actually a good thing in most cases.
